1. What is Paya & be unique?
  • Paya is an eco-responsible Belgian brand that transforms used climbing ropes and harnesses into unique, handmade accessories.
  • Each creation is designed to last, with a strong and responsible identity.
2. Where are the products manufactured?
  • All Paya products are handmade in Belgium, in our workshop located in Liège.
  • We favor short circuits, recycled materials and sustainable production.
3. What types of products do you offer?
  • Currently we offer belts, camera straps and keychains.
  • Other creations are in preparation, such as dog leashes.
4. Where do climbing ropes and harnesses come from?
  • The ropes come from climbers, climbing gyms and partner stores who share our values.
  • Rather than ending up in the trash, they live a second life with you.
5. Is each creation unique?
  • Yes, absolutely. The ropes we collect all have a different story, texture, and color.
  • Result: each Paya creation is a unique piece.
6. Can I customize a product?
  • This is not currently possible on our website, but it is in our plans!
  • If it's for a photo belt/strap: it's entirely possible to choose the number of cords (2/3), the colors of the latter, the length and finally the color of the thread which will assemble your unique creation!
  • If you have a specific request/desire, you can always contact us via the contact form (or Instagram) and we can discuss it.
7. How do I choose a belt that fits me?
  • Simply measure the total size of your belt (including the buckle).

It all depends on your style:

  • Well-fitted: Choose a length close to your measurement.
  • Oversized and casual style: opt for 10 to 15 cm more to let the PAYA logo fall on the pants.
8. What is the width of the photo belts and straps?
  • Two-string creations: width is approximately 2.5cm / 3cm
  • Three-string creations: width is approximately 3.5cm / 4cm
9. What does my package contain?
  • Camera strap: 1 sticker and a certificate of authenticity
  • Belt: 1 sticker and a certificate of authenticity
  • Personalized creation: 1 sticker and a certificate of authenticity

  • Certificate of authenticity, you will find:
    • A wax seal with our logo
    • A little surprise note
    • A unique number, specific to your belt, which marks its originality and makes you a true owner of an exclusive creation.

    This card reflects the raw, artisanal and precious spirit of PAYA & be unique, handmade.
10. How do we pack the parcels?
  • We try to limit waste as much as possible by using packaging made from recycled materials.
11. What are the delivery times?
  • On average, the package should be carefully delivered to the post office within 3 to 4 working days.
  • Delivery times (Mondial Relais) vary between countries but it takes approximately 3 to 6 working days in Europe.
  • It is also possible to collect your order from Alpisport, in Liège (Rue de fragnée 170, 4000 Liège BE).
12. Can I return a product?
  • If an item does not suit you, you have 14 days to contact us and return the package.
  • Return delivery costs will only be our responsibility if there is an order error or an obvious defect.
